In order to provide an accurate attendance count to the City and to know how much food to purchase, there will be a charge for each ACC member, family member and guest planning to attend the picnic. The money will be collected at the February and March meetings.
COST: $2.00 for adults (ages 18 and over)
$1.00 for ages 10 to 17
No charge for children under 10
Members are asked but not required to bring a side dish. The Club will provide burgers, hot dogs, condiments, watermelon, chips, drinks, etc.
Admission into the Elena Gallegos Kiwanis Facility is free for this event. Just be sure to let the Ranger at the entrance know that you are attending the ACC picnic.
The Kiwanis Picnic Area is an outdoor facility with a sheltered picnic area that can accommodate up to 250 people. It is outfitted with 3 large coal grills, a recreation area with a volleyball net, a horseshoe pit, running water, electricity, restrooms, and access to the Elena Gallegos trails. There are 40 designated parking spaces for this area, including limited handicap access. So come out and enjoy a day of family fun and recreation! We look forward to seeing you there.
